Maecee Marie Lathers, a social media model, is charged with many felonies for murdering two people while driving in downtown Miami while high on pink cocaine.
A stunning New York social media model was taken into custody following a three-car collision in downtown Miami last week that claimed two lives due to speeding. Maecee Marie Lathers, 24, has now admitted to police that she was using “pink cocaine,” a party drug that has been linked to the fallout from the career of disgraced musician Sean “Diddy” Combs, while operating her white Mercedes car.
On Friday, Lathers went before a court. According to WPLG, authorities verified that on the day of the collision, she ran a red light and collided with a black Range Rover. Judge Mindy Glazer of the Florida 11th Circuit Court continued, saying that the woman attempted to leave the scene as well and would have done so had she not been grabbed by onlookers on Saturday, August 10.
Maecee Marie is allegedly being detained on a $140,000 bail and is being charged with several felonies. She would be placed under home arrest with a “No Driving Order” if the bond was paid.
Maecee made the startling admission that she thought she had traveled across time. Presumably, this was the party discussing about drugs. A synthetic mixture known as “Pink Cocaine,” or 2C, is connected to a Venezuelan gang that is dominating the drug trade in New York City.
The Florida judge repeated facts from a police report, saying, “She advised she was under the influence of ‘2C,’ a known party drug, and that she was from the future and had a crystal ball.”
Who was hurt in the Miami accident caused by Maecee Marie Lathers driving under the influence of Pink Cocaine?
One of the casualties of the Miami vehicle accident is Abraham Ismael, a driver of a Suzuki. The arrest report said that he had to be taken out of the car and that he finally passed away at Jackson Memorial Vehicle.
Juanita Hernandez, Ismael’s wife, who was in the front passenger seat, was also hospitalized but survived the collision. According to reports, her spouse was taking her to work when the collision claimed the lives of the third back passenger and him.
The driver of the Range Rover, who is 24 years old, is also said to have survived the collision but only suffered minor wounds.
The New York Post reports that after Maecee confessed to using narcotics, the cops discovered her throwing up. She is purportedly from Fort Plain, New York, but has lived in Florida since 2022.
Instagram model faces felony charges
The Instagram model was accused of four charges of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death or serious injury and four counts of driving without a license. The criminal charges have also resulted in her being classified as a “potential flight risk.”
Furthermore, she was referred to as “an absolute danger to the community” by Judge Mindy Glazer.
Glazer said, “She’s a clear and present danger to the community because she killed someone or drove when she shouldn’t have been in a car, and her statements clearly show that she is impaired.” And she would have entirely left if it weren’t for the locals or witnesses who stopped her.
Maecee Marie has 11,000 followers on Instagram.
