Terrifier 3 Trailer Art the Clown is back to spread holiday cheer and fear in the first trailer for “Terrifier 3.”
In the third installment of the “Terrifier” trilogy, David Howard Thornton makes a comeback as the terrifying harlequin, bringing more blood and guts. The film series, directed and written by Damien Leone, centers around a psychotic clown who is mute and determined to mutilate everybody who gets in his way.
Despite costing less than $250,000 to make, “Terrifier 2” earned $15 million at the box office and went viral in 2022. In the previous episode, Art’s reign of terror appeared to come to an end when Sienna Shaw (Lauren LaVera) chopped off his head. But in the last scene, it is shown that Art is still very much alive. In a mental hospital, Victoria Heyes (Samantha Scaffidi), the only survivor of the original “Terrifier,” gave birth to Art’s severed head.
One of the main sources of inspiration for “Terrifier 2” was the bizarre terror of “Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.” But he intends to return to a more grounded tone in his upcoming third installment.
Many individuals weren’t fond of the fantasy, or at the very least, they wanted more information on why it was all happening, according to Leone. “For this reason, instead of delving deeper into “Dream Warriors,” I’d want to make a small course correction and return to “Nightmare on Elm Street, Part One.” That could be really beneficial criticism that I can use to improve the movie going forward. However, we’ll see.
“Terrifier 3” is set to hit theaters on Oct. 11.
