On Saturday, August 17, following her performance during her Eras Tour in London, she walked off stage and gave the crowd a snake-like gesture. Fans were wondering after this farewell whether the musician was returning to her Reputation phase and releasing singles in anticipation of her 2017 album’s reissue.

Following the snake motion, Taylor reportedly fell to the Wembley Stadium floor, as seen in a video posted on social media platform X. After the show, as everyone was fixated on that final farewell wave, fan speculations intensified. Fans further fueled the speculation that the album reveal would occur before to the artist’s August 20 London concert, when she was scheduled to perform surprise tracks from her album Reputation, according to a People story.

It’s also funny to note that the Lover singer’s seven-year social media account blackout and three-day uploading of snake videos corresponded with the concert dates in the capital of England. The video clips served as the album’s first official teasers.
Taylor’s surprise performance track from the Reputation era
She also debuted a surprise song from Reputation, called I Did Something Bad, during her Saturday performance. Taylor announced that she was “going to do a song I’ve never done on the tour that’s one of my favorite songs ever” in a video that a fan recorded from the performance. She said, “Just because you’re that awesome and you deserve something of this calibre,” as justification for the unique song performance. The singer of Look What You Made Me Do will reissue Reputation as her sixth album in an effort to regain ownership of her catalog after Scooter Braun purchased her records against her will in 2019.
