Apart from developing facial hair and a mustache, the Chiefs tight end has also reduced the length of his facial hair.
Travis Kelce’s life was influenced by Taylor Swift, and Patrick Mahomes is disclosing this. During a town hall special with SiriusXM NFL Radio on Tuesday, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs disclosed that the 34-year-old athlete grew out his hair because of his popstar fiancée.

The 28-year-old NFL player added of his Chiefs teammate, “I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out, and all of a sudden, Taylor gets him to do it.” Kelce returned to training camp in late July, having worn his hair longer, after sporting a buzzcut fade for the whole summer.
Fans quickly noted that Kelce had been growing out his hair and beard since his return. Additionally, the Chiefs tight end cut his trademark long beard. Although Swift could be responsible for this transformation in his look, she used to like his buzzcut.
Taylor adores the haircut, according to Patrick Regan, Kelce’s barber, who spoke with Fox News in February. She’s seen me trim his hair several times and always compliments me. Regan also disclosed that he frequently cuts the presenter of the New Heights podcast with a “skin fade” or “bald fade.”
One of the most common styles consumers want is Kelce’s significantly shorter haircut. After adding that it “shows how much of an icon Trav is,” Regan said, “it’s kind of ironic because it’s a haircut [that] barbers have been giving their clients for 100 years all day, every day.”
The NFL player refuted accusations that he created the “Travis Kelce Haircut” after reading a New York Times piece that called his hairdo that. “Can you folks please stop claiming that I created the fade? I didn’t. One day, I went into a barbershop and had no idea what to expect. On his podcast in February, Kelce stated, “I didn’t invent the fade.”
