A longtime fan of Nicki Minaj has filed a lawsuit against her, claiming that she bullied him and called him a “stalker” with mental illness.
After apparently been publicly humiliated and subjected to defamation by the “Anaconda” singer, an enthusiastic fan of Nicki Minaj may have suddenly become an opponent. Tameer Peak, the plaintiff, accused the New York rapper of bullying her and filed a lawsuit against her in Los Angeles Superior Court.
Tameer has been one of Minaj’s ardent fans for the previous fifteen years, according to TMZ’s claim. Additionally, he asserted that by supporting Nicki’s 2023 album, “Pink Friday 2,” he helped to further her career. According to the lawsuit, the rapper called one of her fans a “stalker” for dressing like a member of her crew. Peak has now filed a $5 million lawsuit against the once-loved artist, claiming financial loss, emotional hardship, and reputational damages.
Documents acquired by the source show that as soon as the rapper hopped on her “Nicki hate train” and claimed that fans like him were being paid to damage Minaj’s career, the Barb (Nicki’s following) began to deteriorate. As stated in the lawsuit, the admirer of Nicki Minaj claims that she embarrassed him in public and damaged his reputation.
What has the Nicki Minaj accused her of in the lawsuit?
He claims that while hundreds of millions of people watched on Instagram Live, Nicki once invited him to her hotel and made fun of him. The “Pink Friday” singer allegedly reportedly had her husband Kenneth Petty beat him up during a Super Bowl weekend gathering in 2020. Later on, she is said to have texted Tameer about the event as well.
In April 1995, Minaj’s husband was found guilty of first-degree attempted rape. In the future, he entered a guilty plea to manslaughter in the first degree for the 2002 death of a man. Petty and the “Super Freaky Girl” tied the knot in 2019. Petty was given a 120-day house arrest term for a number of offenses, including threatening Cardi B’s ex-offset in 2023.
Go ahead and start this year. Peak believes that other people—possibly on Nicki’s advice—sent him menacing texts urging him to “stop saying s**t,” severely damaging his reputation within the fandom.
Tameer says he wasn’t the only rapper targeted on Instagram, among other charges leveled against him. He brought attention to the claim that Nicki once commented, “It’s clear they’re not necessarily, you know, a full basket umm at the picnic,” in reference to her Stationhead sessions on X, the previous Twitter. Tameer took that to mean that Nicki was making fun of him and calling him mentally ill.
Tameer contended that the situation wasn’t unprecedented. In another such session, Minaj allegedly called him out, calling him “one sandwich short of a picnic.” The rapper was accused by him of implying that he was on assistance.
