In response to Sheikh Hasina’s removal from Bangladesh, Uddhav Thackeray expressed concerns that a situation such to this would arise in India.
Uddhav Thackeray, the leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday to put an end to the violent crimes against Hindus in Bangladesh. During a news conference, Thackeray asserted that if the prime minister could end the conflict in Ukraine, he could do the same in India’s neighbor.
“If Prime Minister Modi could stop the war in Ukraine, he should also take similar steps in Bangladesh and save the Hindus there,” he stated.
“Tell Papa to end this war too, if he can end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In a jab at the government and a reference to the BJP’s Lok Sabha election campaign ad, Thackeray added, “Papa, atrocities are being done against Hindus in Bangladesh, please do justice to them.”
In response to Sheikh Hasina’s removal from Bangladesh, Uddhav Thackeray expressed concerns that a situation such to this would arise in India.
“Do you think that a similar situation should develop in India?” replied.
“The message is clear: no politician should try to outsmart the people’s patience. They are the ultimate authority.” If so, Bangladesh has demonstrated what a people’s court is capable of. The People’s Court is paramount. In Bangladesh, the people’s court has rendered a decision,” he said.
He claimed that the demonstrators in Bangladesh went by the name Razakers. He further asserted that the Indian farmers who were protesting were referred to as terrorists.
“They referred to the farmers who had traveled to the nation’s capital to demonstrate as terrorists. Bangladesh’s current state should serve as a warning to everyone. No one should believe they are superior to God. We are all human, “said Thackeray.
On Tuesday, Sheikh Hasina announced her resignation as Bangladesh’s prime minister and boarded a military plane to leave Dhaka. She touched down at Hindon airport in Ghaziabad. She is considering relocating to Europe and is presently staying in a safe home in India.
