Due to the persistent rains throughout the state, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education,
or MSBSHSE, has decided to postpone the supplemental test for classes 10 and 12.
which was initially planned for Friday.
The board announced today in an official notification that Science and Technology Part 2 for
Cass 10, which was originally planned for July 26, has been rescheduled for July 31. The exam will still take place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Likewise, for Class 12, the exams for three subjects—Food Science and Technology, Organization of Commerce and Management, and MCVC—will now take place on August 9 from 11 AM to 2 p.m.
The remaining exams will stay unchanged, says the MSBSHSE.
Additionally, the board has announced that individuals who were unable to attend the exam on Thursday due to the rain will be permitted to retake it.
It should be noted that the initial dates for the Class 10 supplemental exams were July 16–30, while the dates for the Class 12 exams were July 16–August 8.
This year, over 15 lakh students took part in the regular Class 10 board examination, which ran from March 1 to March 26, 2024. There were two shifts for the Maharashtra SSC exam: a first shift from 11 am to 2 pm and a second shift from 3 pm to 6 pm.
On May 27, the Maharashtra SSC 10th Result 2024 was released. A pass percentage of 95.81 percent was achieved overall.
Similarly, on May 21, the Maharashtra HSE or Class 12 results were released, showing that 93.31 percent of pupils had passed. This year, more than 14 lakh students took the Maharashtra HSC or Class 12 final exam.
