Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff reveals lifelong medical condition
The US Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff’s daughter disclosed on her Instagram stories that she was born with a tethered spine, a neurological condition that causes spinal cord anomalies. “I had a kyphosis (hunchback) because my back did not grow properly because I was born with a tethered spine (iykyk),” the woman wrote.
Was in and out of the medical field throughout the most of my teenage years. After undergoing lower back surgery, Emhoff grew a million inches and now has to cope with chronic discomfort. She captioned the image of her covered in Hello Kitty stickers. After receiving several comments on her earlier article, in which she asked for suggestions on how to manage her discomfort, she disclosed her ailment.
She explained, “A pain management device is hard at work behind every piece. I have bad chronic back pain and have had it for the majority of my life.” What are we utilizing, my chronic pain folks, to feel comfortable? In the update, Emhoff first thanked her fans for their “comforting” words before providing a “context” on her enduring medical condition.
Emhoff posted a link to a Google Sheet named “Big Pain Management List” the next day. There were many different ways to reduce pain on the list, from exercise and lifestyle changes to counseling and literature. “Ketamine infusions” was one of the many medications on the list. Emhoff included a disclaimer on the list, saying, “These are all just recommendations made to me; they should not be taken as medical advice. I’m just a girl trying to feel less pain.”
Meanwhile, five people were recently detained in relation to Perry’s death, therefore the inclusion of ketamine has drawn criticism. The 54-year-old actor used ketamine for years to treat melancholy and anxiety before becoming severely addicted to the drug. Due to the significant likelihood of drug dependence, the potentially lethal substance is restricted.
According to the New York Post, Las Vegas chiropractor Dr. Michael Harbison criticized Emhoff’s suggestions, stating, “In my professional opinion, there are far better options out there to deal with chronic pain than Ketamine and mushrooms.” “Those drugs are not for back pain – they are basically just getting you high,” Harbison continued.
