Janhvi Kapoor has been hospitalized in Mumbai due to a “severe case of food poisoning,” as per our sources. This information was confirmed by her father, Boney Kapoor, who shared that her condition has improved and she is expected to recover within 1-2 days, at which point she will be discharged. Further updates on her condition are awaited.
In the meantime, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her next film, Ulajh. The trailer was unveiled earlier this week. In the movie, Janhvi portrays Suhana Bhatia, India’s youngest deputy high commissioner in the Indian Foreign Services. The narrative focuses on Suhana’s journey and how she maneuvers through various challenges. Despite her achievements, those around her attribute her success to “nepotism.” The trailer showcases Janhvi’s fearless side as she embraces her role, stating, “Now, this goat will eat the lion.”
The trailer for Ulajh was released by Junglee Pictures on Instagram with the intriguing caption, “Everyone has a story. Every story has secrets. Every secret is a trap. Iss Ulajh ko suljhana is not going to be easy.” The film, directed by Sudhanshu Saria, features a talented cast including Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi.
Ulajh is produced by Vineet Jain and co-produced by Amrita Pandey under the Junglee Pictures banner. The movie is slated for release on August 2 and will face competition at the box office from Ajay Devgn and Tabu’s Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha.
Janhvi Kapoor was last seen in Mr and Mrs Mahi alongside Rajkummar Rao. This sports drama garnered acclaim from both critics and fans. Up next, Janhvi is set to appear in Devara: Part 1 with NTR Jr. This film will mark her debut in Telugu cinema. Directed by Koratala Siva, the movie also features Saif Ali Khan in a significant role.
