With Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni in the starring roles, the film It Ends With Us has made over seven times its $25 million budget thus far.
The global box office success of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s film It Ends With Us has been thriving amidst the intense intrigue surrounding their growing friction. It Ends With Us has reportedly brought in more than $180 million globally, according to a Variety report.
It Ends With Us soars
According to the article, It Ends With Us has earned over seven times its $25 million modest budget. It has already made an additional $80 million at the box office worldwide after surpassing $100 million last week. This previous weekend brought its global profits to $82.2 million, surpassing $180 million in just 10 days since its premiere. It made $33.1 million at the international box office.
It Ends With Us brought in $24 million at the North American box office, a mere 52% decrease from its historic opening weekend haul of $50 million. It debuted this weekend at number three in the box office rankings, just behind Shawn Levy’s buddy Marvel film Deadpool & Wolverine, which starred Ryan Reynolds, Blake’s husband, in the major role.
About the film
The picture, which is based on the best-selling Colleen Hoover novel of the same name, stars Blake Lively as Lily Bloom, a woman at a crossroads whose relationship with Justin Baldoni’s Ryle Kincaid is upended by a prior love.
Although tabloid headlines and social media conversation are still dominated by rumors of behind-the-scenes conflict on the movie, Don’t Worry Darling also taught us that buzz and scandal don’t necessarily translate to box office success. The main actress in the movie, Florence Pugh, and director Olivia Wilde were at odds.
Though it’s uncertain if the surrounding turmoil has a good or bad impact on it, It Ends With Us is undoubtedly doing incredibly well at the box office internationally. There have been rumors circulating that Blake told others that Justin made fun of her weight and kissed her for too long at a private moment. But in his most recent interviews, Justin has been complimenting Blake and her part in the movie.
