On Friday, August 9, the Bharatiya Janata Party will begin the third iteration of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” 2024 campaign, which honors the Indian flag in anticipation of the country’s 77th Independence Day.
During his monthly radio show “Mann Ki Baat,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a statewide campaign to promote the Indian flag, known as the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan (campaign). This was on July 28.
The BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh released a statement saying, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called for the celebration of the Har Ghar Tiranga program as a national festival in the 112th edition of his Mann Ki Baat programme in July.”
From August 11 to August 13, the BJP would conduct Tiranga Yatras in each assembly constituency, he continued. Every district will celebrate Partition Remembrance Day on August 14 with a silent march, according to Chugh.
The national flag, or “tiranga,” will be raised and flown at all residences and places of business on August 13, 14, and 15, “turning the entire country into a sea of saffron, white and green,” he stated.
Chugh stated that BJP officials, politicians, and public representatives will participate in Independence Day celebrations and that the party wants to guarantee that the Tricolour reaches every booth in the country.”The BJP and the people of the nation have been commemorating the HarGharTiranga campaign since 2022 with tremendous fervor and excitement. Citizens from all throughout the nation will once again participate in large numbers in this campaign,” he said.
J P Nadda, the president of the BJP, has instructed all office bearers to make “extensive preparations” for the campaign in order to guarantee its success.
Meetings with BJP state leaders, morcha teams, district heads, and district teams are being held all throughout the nation in accordance with his directives. For the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, meetings are also being held with district and divisional committees, according to Chugh.
He said, “Party representatives, federal, state, and local officials, as well as local workers, are working nonstop to make sure the campaign succeeds.”
