Co-creator of Friends Marta Kauffman discussed her friendship with Matthew Perry, who passed away in October of last year. In this case, a new investigation has been launched.
Everyone in the globe was shocked by the sudden death of Friends star Matthew Perry in the previous year. Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman has spoken to The Times on how we can ensure that the actor’s legacy is honored amidst the ongoing inquiry into his drug overdose death.
What Marta said about Matthew Perry
As reported by EW, Marta remarked in the new 30th-anniversary narrative of the iconic program, “He is the one I had the most contact with. About two weeks before [he died] he and I were FaceTiming and he appeared very good.”
She said, “I have two ideas [on how to honor him]: one is to give to drug rehab facilities; let’s combat the illness. The second option is to watch Friends and reflect on him not as a man who passed away tragically but rather as a man who was really humorous and made everyone happy.”
