25 complaints about waterlogging were received by the New Delhi Municipal Council in central Delhi, from locations such as Madhu Limaye Marg, Diplomatic Enclave, Africa Avenue, Gole Market, and Connaught Place, an official said.
Additionally, the Public Works Department received fifteen reports of fallen trees in various locations. Due to flooded roads, a number of public transportation vehicles, including a garbage collection truck owned by the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), broke down.
Rainfall hampered traffic flow and caused waterlogging in a few places.
The traffic police in Delhi warned drivers about dangerous roads and advised them to choose other routes. Mother Teresa Crescent, Nyay Marg near Shivaji Stadium Metro Station, Sir M Vishweshwaraiah Moti Bagh Metro Station, Shanti Path, Bhikaji Cama Place, and Motibagh Ring Road are among the impacted locations, according to a post made by the police on social networking site X.
