On Friday, August 9, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao were present at the Laapataa Ladies special screening held at the Supreme Court in New Delhi. Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud was present at the court with the producer-director team. According to Live Law, the CJI warned everyone against any form of “stampede” when Aamir approached the courtroom.

The actor was also asked to see actual court procedures by the Chief Justice. “We welcome a very special guest of the Supreme Court of India… I don’t want a stampede in the court,” he said. Why don’t you visit the court and see the procedures in person, I asked. On a brighter note, Attorney General R Venkataramani said, “It’s a star-studded court today!”

Kiran conveyed her thanks and satisfaction after seeing the film. “It fills my heart with immense pride to see ‘Laapataa Ladies’ making history by being screened at the Supreme Court of India,” the woman was cited by ANI. About Laapataa Ladies
In the fictional state of Nirmal Pradesh in 2001, two brides are exchanged on a train in the film Laapataa Ladies. One bride’s husband returns home with the other, leaving the other abandoned at a train station. Kishan, the policeman (Ravi Kishan), decides to look into the situation on his own. Aamir Khan Productions and Kiran Rao’s Kindling Productions are producing the movie, which Jio Studios is presenting.
