CCTV footage was made public by DongA Ilbo, showing what seems to be Suga riding an electric seated scooter on August 6 at around 11:10 p.m.
In a recent development, Suga, a member of the group, has allegedly been identified in the new video featuring an electric bike, according to BTS agency BigHit Music. According to Koreaboo, HYBE has also addressed rumors over Suga, also known as Min Yoongi, possibly quitting the group.
New CCTV clip is of Suga
DongA Ilbo revealed CCTV footage on Wednesday. The report states that on August 6 at around 11:10 p.m., someone was observed riding an electric seated scooter. He wasn’t driving too fast in the video, but as he made a left bend close to his building, he lost control and collapsed. Still, he stood up and took the car as well.
This event happened close to the Nine One Hannam residential building’s main gate. He was contacted by a couple police officers who were strolling by. The BTS agency has now verified that the man in this video is Suga, according to Koreaboo, who was quoting TV Daily. DongA Ilbo’s video contradicted the first report from JTBC on August 7. It showed someone rushing along the road in front of the Nine One Hannam complex, heading towards Namsan.
Suga was shown walking home along the sidewalk next to the Nine One Hannam wall in the newly released footage. It faces the other way from the direction seen in the JTBC video. According to Koreaboo, the kind of vehicle and the route are also distinct from what was previously reported.
HYBE reveals if Suga will exit BTS
According to a different claim from the same source, HYBE denied rumors and allegations that Suga had left BTS. HYBE reportedly stated, “Talk of Suga leaving BTS is nonsense,” according to Koreaboo, citing YTN. We pledge to make amends and put in more effort to settle the dispute between the fans.
What happened with Suga
The incident happened last week when Suga was riding his electric scooter home after drinking. The rapper was discovered laying on the ground by himself, according to the police, after he fell from his scooter in Seoul’s Yongsan neighborhood. The next day, Suga and BigHit Music issued comments on Weverse expressing their regret to the fans.
The cops launched a criminal probe. Suga had a blood alcohol content (BAC) of 0.227%, which is eight times over the permitted limit. In South Korea, the 31-year-old rapper is performing as a social service agent as an alternative to military duty.
