The publicist and representative for Beyonce denied rumors that she will make a much-discussed special appearance on the last day of the DNC. The result has not pleased the internet.
Beyoncé claims that, despite inspiring millions of followers with hopes that eventually fizzled out, she was never intended to be the featured musical guest at the Democratic National Convention.
According to a Beyonce spokesman, following the enormous sadness that beset a horde of fans, the singer “was never scheduled to be there,” as The Hollywood Reporter exclusively revealed on August 22. In addition, the representative refuted a previously widely circulated TMZ rumor that said Beyoncé will be closing out the Chicago concert on Thursday, August 22.
Beyonce’s publicist responds
Her representative not only dispelled the intense rumor chain in a statement to THR, but her publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, also attacked the outdated allegations on her social media accounts. She shared a picture of herself watching CNN on Instagram, writing, “At home watching and anticipating the VP’s historic speech.” Keep your mind on winning and get registered to vote. Report rumors nowhere. FOCUS (emoji of the American flag).
TMZ releases statement after Beyonce rumours turn out fake
In the meantime, TMZ made every effort to put out the flames it had ignited earlier by using Beyonce’s own words. In an effort to quiet the irate mob, the publication posted her statements on social media in addition to its website. But that was ineffective.
“We need to lay our cards down, down, down. We got this one wrong,” the legendary Beyonce famously said.
X, a defunct Twitter platform, saw an endless flow of emotional, furious, and depressing GIFs in the comments section.

Social media went crazy after the media source stoked the rumors, expecting Queen Bey to show up at this year’s Democratic National Convention in favor of Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential quest. Talks of her presence at the event were only rumors, despite the fact that the “Single Ladies” hitmaker had already given the Democratic presidential candidate’s team permission to use her 2016 song “Freedom” as an anthem for the first Black female presidential nominee.
Beyonce’s absence from the United Center venue on Thursday was particularly felt, as rumors sprang online and caused chaos. On the last day of the DNC, Harris was formally welcomed onstage when the song from her album “Lemonade” played. Despite this, Harris was still present in spirit.
Internet reacts to Beyonce’s absence at DNC
Someone posted, “OMGGGGG… 😭😭 The first step is to acknowledge your error! Compensation for the emotional, bodily, and mental suffering inflicted upon us is the next phase.
Someone person wrote, “The TMZ intern who tweeted the Beyonce news trying to get into the LA office tomorrow,” and included a link to a video showing a guy being originally shut out of a business.
“You were lied to just like the rest of America was lied to for four days,” said a third individual. Others questioned whether the rumors were really a planned prank carried out “on purpose… to get people to tune in to watch” the DNC.

An infuriated user raged, “Beyoncé should sue the DNC for defamation for lying about her performance just to get views,” in another section of the site. That’s the type of pandemonium I expect, remarked someone else. The amount of influence these celebrity visits have on public opinion is astounding.”
The publication previously stated differently in an early August piece, but its most current report claims that Queen Bey “is in Chicago, and getting ready to pop out for Kamala Harris on the final night.”
Other insiders who were privy to the Harris-Walz campaign’s decision over the DNC performances brazenly asserted that they were attempting to limit the participation of celebrities in order to prevent the event from seeming to be a massive Hollywood extravaganza.
