Before splitting up with the 41-year-old TV personality over his months-long relationship with 29-year-old Rachel Leviss, Madix dated her for over ten years.
After months of the “Scandoval drama,” Ariana Madix is now speaking out about Tom Sandoval’s shocking lawsuit against her. “That was a really bad day,” the 39-year-old reality TV actress said to host Andy Cohen during her most recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

When the Love Island USA host learned of Sandoval’s extramarital romance with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, their co-star on Vanderpump Rules, she found herself facing not one, but two lawsuits. Before splitting up with the 41-year-old TV personality over his several-month-long relationship with Leviss, Madix dated her for over ten years. “That would be great,” Madix responded with a giggle when Cohen inquired if her “bad days” were finally behind her.
The “Scandoval drama” started when Madix saw the 29-year-old’s films on his phone and learned about her then-boyfriend’s infidelity. Since then, according to the NY Post, Leviss has filed a lawsuit against Madix and Sandoval in February, alleging several things, including revenge porn, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and invasion of privacy.
The now-exes have refuted these allegations, though. When Sandoval filed a lawsuit against Madix for illegally viewing Leviss’ films on his phone, the controversy escalated. Later, the Bravo star abandoned the accusation, accusing his attorney of deceiving him. Madix did not say if she “believe[s] Sandoval’s statement that he had no intention of suing [her] and it was the doing of his lawyer” during her interview on the late-night talk program on Tuesday.
Madix’s attorney had earlier told Us Weekly in a statement in reaction to Sandoval’s complaint, “It is abhorrent that Tom Sandoval continues to torment Ms. Madix.” After months of emotional warfare, an illegal affair that destroyed her home and sense of security, and now this attempt to further abdicate personal responsibility for the consequences of his actions on her and her mental health.
