Following many ballistic missile launches by Iran towards Israel, the Middle East crisis worsened.
A warning was sent to all Indian citizens on Tuesday by the Indian embassy in Israel regarding the Middle East situation.
The Indian embassy encouraged all Indian people to follow the safety instructions provided by the local authorities and to be on the lookout in an X post.
“Please use caution, stay close to safe havens, and refrain from making needless trips inside the nation. To guarantee the safety of all of our citizens, the Embassy is keeping a careful eye on the situation and constantly communicating with the Israeli authorities, the embassy stated.
Helpline numbers have also been provided by the embassy to Indian people residing in the nation affected by the war.
According to the embassy website, there are around 18,000 Indian residents living in Israel. These people are mainly carers who are hired by Israeli elders to look after them, as well as diamond traders, IT experts, and students.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the current turmoil in the Middle East on Monday.

Iran attacks Israel with rockets
Iran launched multiple ballistic missiles at Israel, escalating the Middle East crisis, just after the Israeli military killed several Hezbollah leaders, including its leader Hassan Nasrallah, in an airstrike on Beirut.
Iran has fired tens of missiles at Israel, according to the Revolutionary Guards of Iran, and Tehran would respond with “more crushing and ruinous” force if Israel retaliated.
Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, the spokesperson for the Israeli military, threatened Iran with “consequences” for the missile attack.
Both offensively and defensively, we are extremely vigilant. We are going to stand up for the people of the State of Israel. There will be repercussions for this attack. Hagari stated in a television announcement, “We have plans, and we will operate at the place and time we decide.”
