An image of Siddharth dozing off with his Filmfare statuettes was posted by Aditi Rao Hydari. She wrote him a message of congratulations on his film’s seven award wins.
At the most recent Filmfare Awards South, Siddharth and the 2023 Tamil movie he produced, Chithha, took home several major prizes. Actor Aditi Rao Hydari, his fiancée, posted a heartfelt message about his legacy along with a photo of him sleeping with his statuettes on Instagram.
‘When good people win’
Greetings and congratulations to the Chithha team, Aditi began the letter with, “2=7! #chithha at @filmfare 2024.” Kudos to the group! We all prosper when good people, good art, and excellent movies come together.
“More power to you, to your hard work, your determination to tell stories from the heart, more power to push for craft, to work against all the odds with a childlike joy!” she said, referring specifically to Siddharth. May the tiny moviegoer inside of you always be overflowing with enthusiasm and ideas, as well as the highest levels of honesty and curiosity. Keep creating and thinking.
She concluded the message with a toast to his memory, adding, “To your very own ‘cinema Paradiso’ legacy.” You are now, very naturally, the greatest since you studied under the greatest! Siddharth left a heartfelt, huggable, and puppy-eyed emoji remark under her photo, saying, “Thank you, love.”
Siddharth thanks Aditi at Filmfare
Siddharth stated, “I was sitting in front of the stage, hoping I don’t have to wait 18 more years to hold a Filmfare in my hand again,” during the Filmfare Awards, which were presented on Saturday night in Hyderabad. Chithha is a very unique movie. It’s the first Best Film honor for my firm, Etaki Entertainment Private Limited. It has all meaning.
He said, “I have some people to thank,” acknowledging the individuals in his life who had contributed to his current situation. I would want to express my gratitude to my mother, sister, and life partner for providing me with the bravery, strength, and understanding needed to complete this video.
Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor (Critics’), Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female), Best Music Album, and Best Playback Singer (Female) were all awarded to Chithha, which was helmed by SU Arun Kumar and starred Siddharth.
