The actor Adil Hussain used social media to voice his opinions and ask for assistance for those who were stranded in Bangladesh.
After viewing the “heart-wrenching” images emerging from Bangladesh amid escalating political turmoil, actor Adil Hussain expresses discomfort. The actor declares that it is time to take a position and defend the protesters who are impacted.
The actor, who was most recently seen in the movie Ulajh, used the former Twitter platform, X, to voice his opinions and call on the Indian government to take more action.
Time to stand up
Adil tweeted on Wednesday, saying, “Heartbreaking images from Bangladesh.” It is shocking to see the atrocities and attacks committed in Bangladesh against minority populations and others! India needs to protect them more.
“I stand with the pains and sufferings of the victims,” he continued. Furthermore, I implore the offenders to step aside. For what they did, they need to hang their heads in shame. It is imperative that all political figures, particularly Muslim leaders in India, denounce these aggressors.

Actor Sonu Sood had earlier pleaded on social media with Indians to assist in rescuing other Indians who were marooned in Bangladesh. It happened after Sheikh Hasina, the leader of Bangladesh, left the nation on Monday amid heavy fighting aboard a military plane.
“For our fellow Indians in Bangladesh to have a happy life here, we should do our hardest to bring them back. This is our collective obligation as well as that of our government, which is trying its hardest. He wrote, “Jai Hind (tricolor emoji).”
Sonam Kapoor had voiced worries on August 5 about the increasing number of deaths in Bangladesh. On her Instagram account, she posted a picture of The Juggernaut that described how 66 people had perished in the fighting in just one day. “This is horrible,” the actor wrote as a caption for the photo. Let us all pray for the people of Bangladesh.
About the crisis
A student-led demonstration against the quota system became a national movement against the Sheikh Hasina government when the latter’s crackdown on the demonstrators resulted in hundreds of fatalities. After serving a record-breaking fifth term, she eventually resigned and fled to Delhi, where her son said she would probably be staying for “some more time.” Bangladesh will be governed temporarily by an interim administration headed by Nobel Prize laureate Mohammed Yunus.
